Must-see documentary: Let The Fire Burn
Let The Fire Burn - opening February 11th at the Vancity Theatre - is an amazing film, which will be of interest to anyone concerned with radicalism, racism, police malfeasance, and the antagonistic relationship between the willful outsiders in a community and the majority (and/or those who represent the voice of authority). It was one of my top ten films from the 2013 VIFF. However, I have nothing much to say about it that Charles Mudede doesn't say better here. Highly recommend seeing it, though! Part of a series of films themed around Black History Month...
