Ohmigosh - thanks to Ken Pickering, I now know that there will be a FREE Phil Minton event on Wednesday the 7th. which I'd previously missed. It's described here, thus: "Time Flies artist Phil Minton will perform with members of the downtown eastside community in this Feral Choir. Feral = in a natural state after escape from captivity." ...And apparently Mr. Minton will be playing every night of the festival...! Festival pass (three nights of improvised music!) is $27, to be had either at Coastal Jazz and Blues' offices or at the door of the Ironworks).
