I loved Corben when I was a kid, and while I kind of have grown out of this style of art - and haven't followed it for years - it still saddens me to hear he has died at age 80, following heart surgery. Obituary here. Some cool Corben covers here, including an issue of Fantagor that *I used to have*. Favourite Corben work ever? Probably this one. I've used it as a screensaver:
