I have only seen two
Michael Glawogger films, his documentary
Workingman's Death and his fictional feature
Slumming - but I found both fascinating, and concluded that he was truly one of the most exciting filmmakers working... so I'm very, very, very sad to read that he died at age 54 today, of Malaria, while on a film shoot in Liberia. Very, very bad news for cinema - this was a major figure in film who had a lot more to offer the world, and 54 is far too young to go...
