Crap me.
I found a cluster of four itchy red bites on my body today, spaced a few inches apart, so as to suggest the meanderings of a sucking bedbug. This is not my first encounter with these unwholesome beasts, but I'd hoped I was rid of them when I relocated to the suburbs in 2009. To make it even more stressful, I have no idea where my path may have crossed said bugs: in the last few days, I've crashed at a friend's, slept at my girlfriend's, ridden a bus, watched a play at SFU Woodwards', sat on a bench outside Audiopile waiting for it to open, and reclined on my Mom's couch; I could have been fed upon at any spot. Most frighteningly, I also, earlier today, took a nap in my own bed, which happens to mark the turning point between my not noticing the bites... and noticing them.
I really, really don't want to have to deal with bedbugs again right now. (I bet the pigeons are pleased, and maybe Art Bergmann...).
Is it possible they may have hitched a ride on to the pigeons? I know that squirrels can carry them. They are all within the same pesty social club.
