I woke up from my nap at 5pm. I haven't had a migraine since I got out of bed this morning - it's my first migraine-free day this week. I puttered with some writing, farted around on Facebook, read a bit of the Repairman Jack novel I'm currently working my way through, and contemplated my night; Mom is away on a late night casino trip, and I've decided to defer serious writing and apartment cleanup activities until tomorrow and the next day, allowing myself a day of rest.
It's hard to know how to use a day of rest when you're not used to having them. I finally decided to break out season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I picked up a few months ago at a thrift store and have never watched.
I have long heard good things about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I have never seen an episode until now. I am finding it most amusing. I am glad to be catching up.
I wonder what people made of the new SNFU album?
That Facebook exchange was the most NO-FUN-show-like thing to occur since the last NO FUN show.I hope you realize that if a musician friend disparaged, even slightly, "Alienated In Vancouver", I would insist that they, too, must ATONE.
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely amusing, but I did *like* the Polly album, really! (And I disparage my blog all the time).
ReplyDeleteMigraines are back, but low level. Complete avoidance of caffeine seems to be required to free myself - but I broke down today for some chocolate ice cream, and am paying predictably now. Funny that the connection between caffeine and migraines isn't widely acknowledged -
