New John Lurie paintings

John Lurie - one of my past interviews with whom is online here - has posted scans of some of his more recent paintings on his website. His work grows progressively painterly and rich, and his titles have his unmistakable candor and humour, though some are troubling ("I Need to Know if There is Life After Death and I Need to Know Kind of Soon").
