Chris Arnett, pictured at the Vancouver Complication gig, above, during one of those rare moments when he's not leaping about like a wildman, will be performing Saturday with one of our EARLIEST, most primal punk bands, the Furies - two shows, opening for the ever-energetic DOA, at Richards on Richards (the afternoon show is all ages, starts at 3, see Sudden Death for more). For those of you who came here lookin' to read "the text of my full interview" with him, as promised in Discorder, it will be up by Saturday early AM, maybe sooner - I haven't had time to transcribe the tape yet! For those of you who haven't read the Discorder thing yet - it's here. Should be a great gig - I loved what Chris did at the Complication with the Shades; his performance was my second-favourite of the lengthy night, comin' in just slightly after the Dishrags...! (Family ties there, btw - Chris is Jade's cousin).
